Welcome to the PTO Web Page
The role of the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is to foster better communications and to establish a means for coordinated activities on the part of the total school community. We are responsible for maintaining good communications between the home and school, for providing a vehicle through which parents can provide services to the school (i.e., volunteers and fund-raising).

Board Meetings The PTO board meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 in the School Library. If you have a concern that you would like to address to the Board, please contact a board member in advance to put your concern on the agenda.
Fundraising
Fundraising is one of the main focuses of the PTO. The funds that we raise go directly back into the school to pay for expenses including technology for classrooms, related arts, library, sound systems, and a mobile lab. Fundraising also supports school activities such as the 8th grade graduation breakfast and an 8th grade scholarship program, teacher bonuses and staff Christmas gifts, a new parent welcome night, student and staff appreciation events during Catholic Schools Week, and our Honors celebration, as well as funding for special projects for the teachers and special needs that arise for the school. All of the PTO fundraising efforts help with keeping tuition and book bill rates reasonable.
Without the dedication and hard work of parent volunteers none of this would be possible. It is only with the continued support of our parent and students that we will continue to make St. Stephen Martyr School an even better place for our children to prosper and grow.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
