St. Stephen Martyr

"Welcome to St. Stephen Martyr Parish and School. My name is Margaret Bowen. I am the Principal here at SSM. I was excited to be the principal especially with Cardinals being our nickname and mascot. I am a huge UofL fan. I began my teaching career here at SSM, 26 years ago. Yes I was a child teacher. I moved to administration after 12 years of teaching. I have been a Principal at St. Agnes and St. Gabriel Schools. I learned so much from all the places I have been and from the people I have met. I am happy and excited to be the Principal at such a warm and welcoming place as SSM. Please check out our various programs. We are following the values that have been in place here from Mrs. Evelyn Kalbhin to Mrs. Barbara Miller. We are trying hard to teach as Jesus taught us. Welcome!
