Worship Ministries
Worship Committee: The mission of the Worship Committee is to facilitate communications and guidance between the Worship subcommittees and the members of the Parish and the Parish Council.
Adult Choir Member: The Adult Choir ministry allows those with abilities and interest in music to provide a special service. The choir enriches our liturgy with music and encourages the Community through their gift of song.
Art and Environment Committee: This committee creates a visual expression of the liturgical seasons of the Church through art and floral design.
Altar Linen Launderer: These volunteers launder and press the altar linens.
Cantors: This leader for sung prayer announces the assembly songs and proclaims the responsorial psalm at Mass.
Children's Church Leaders: Leaders for this program help provide young children the opportunity to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word in language designed for them.
Church Cleaning Volunteers: This ministry strives to enhance the worship experience, whether it is at Mass or other services, by keeping the church clean and inviting.
Gift Bearers: Families and individuals bring forth the gifts of bread and wine as well as the offering collected at the Masses.
Holy Communion Ministers: Holy Communion Ministers are entrusted to perform a special function for members of our parish family. A Holy Communion Minister helps and assists the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion, either at Mass or any other time.
Hospitality Ministers: This ministry provides a welcoming environment and provides information for those who are attending Mass.
Instrumentalists: The instrumentalists enhance music of the Mass by providing musical support. This includes instruments such as strings and wind instruments.
Lectors: A Minister of the Word enhances the liturgical experience by proclaiming the Word of God in a clear and understandable manner.
Liturgy Planning Committee Member: This committee has the task of preparing and overseeing all Parish liturgical events, such as feasts, seasons and sacramental celebrations.
Resurrection Choir Member: This ministry is composed of men and women who come together to provide music for funeral services
Sacristans: These ministers assist the Priest by setting up all that is necessary in preparation for Mass.
Ushers: This Ministry greets Mass attendees as they arrive. If needed, ushers assist them in finding a seat or locating the restrooms, bulletins, etc.
