Religion: The children will learn that the rosary is a special prayer to the Blessed Mother. They will learn about the first three Joyful Mysteries and will pray the first three decades of the rosary. The children will also participate in an All School Mass on Wednesday.                                             

Literacy Activities: The children will be introduced to   Amazing Words and will participate in the shared reading of "Building Beavers" and "The Night Worker". They will read independently "Jen and Max" "Spin the Top", "Fix It", "Will Cass Come" and "Jim and Kim".  They will review skills covered during the year.

Math: Subtraction / review of skills                      

Reading Logs: Last reading log for the year is Monday, May 12th.

Life Skills: Please continue to practice at home how to be a good listener and the importance of following directions the first time they are given. The children will begin to work on the importance of asking good questions when they do not understand something or when they need information. Please encourage and model for your child how to ask good questions. Thanks for your support!
