H o m e w o r k   f o r  week of  May 5th. A spelling test will be on May 9th of this week.  

. Handwriting - we have completed the workbook and will be practicing our spelling words in cursive each week.  Also, we will be working on personal information such as name,address, city,state,etc.This information will be part of the spelling tests for the few weeks.  Please make sure your child/children know how to spell their names,addresses,city,state, zip code, and phone number .  Many children have earned the right to use an erasable pen which I have provided for them.  It is only to be used  in my classes and for any written language arts homework.  Those children that have the pens are not to use them in any other classes at this time .    

Reading- we are working in our text books at this time.  In grammar we are working on singular and plural pronouns.   

Social Studies -  Field trip tomorrow on the Belle of Louisville.  We will begin Unit 4 p.196 in our textbooks this week.
