Science
- 4A and 4B have worked on a new set of vocabulary cards for chapter B2.
- 4B an 4A have started the chapter on force and motion.
- Both classes have explored the concept of work. W=FxD
- The 6 simple machines have been introduced. We will be searching for examples of the six simple machines in everyday life.
- 4B WILL DO THIS TOMORROW
If you have any magazines, catalouges, newspaper ads, etc. please send them in. They will be making a booklet with examples.
Social Studies
- There will be a test on chapter 1 next Wednesday. A study guide was completed in class and discussed.

9.Why is the Great Salt Lake saltier than the ocean?
10. One theme of geography is the the physical part. List 8 examples of physical characteristics.
11. Why have cities grown up along rivers? Give 3 examples and explain why they have caused people to move near a river.
12. Read the region section on p.5. Write 2-3 paragraphs describing physical and human characteristics of the region where you live.
Religion
- The class was divided into groups to work on a video skit promoting the fourth commandment. Hopefully they can view it next week.
- Class project will be completed tomorrow in class
PTO meeting tonight at 7:00. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
