5th grade math - We practiced simplifying fractions in class and worked on problems in class. Quiz tomorrow on simplifying fractions. We will then practice simplifying improper fractions and then take a quiz, adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators, take a quiz, review adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators, take a quiz, subtracting fractions with regrouping take a quiz, determining equivalent fractions and then take a quiz. This will replace the fraction test that some students did poorly on. Also, quiz tomorrow on drawing Triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagon, hexagon, and octagon, drawing diagonals, identifying number of sides, verticies, and diagonals. This was homework and we also did it in class.

6th grade math - We practiced division of fractions and did problems from the book. Students may do the odd problems to practice for the quiz tomorrow.

5th grade religion - both classes took the chapter 16 review in class today. No homework.
