About Miss Sims

I graduated from UK in 1975 and began my teaching career that same year.  I spent 3 years teaching at St. Joseph's in Bardstown.  After a terrible winter in 1978, I decided it was time to come back to Louisville.  I was hired at St. Barnabas and taught there for 7 years.  At the end of my time there, I interviewed with Mrs. Kalbhin.  She hired me to teach second grade here at SSM.  Nearly 20 years later, I have gone up to 3rd grade and now 5th and 6th grade.  In August of 2005, I will celebrate 30 years teaching in the Archdiocese of Louisville.  I have earned my Masters of Education from U.L. and have completed my Rank I (30 hours above a Master) with course work from various universities in the U.S.  During the summer, I love to travel.
