In observance of Black History Month, students will research and report on the lives of African Americans who have made special contributions to American life and society.  Students will research and write a paper on the biography of one individual.  In addition, students will present an in-character speech that highlights the individual’s life.  The majority of this project should be completed outside of class.  A rough-draft of the research paper is due in class on Tuesday February 28th.  The final report will be due one week from the date rough draft papers are returned.  Please note: all students need to bring outside resources to class on Monday February 13th.
