Music and Humanities Updates
K-4th: We are learning lots of new songs and dances daily. They really enjoy showing off their new dance moves and doing partner songs. We are having a great time!
5th: We just started working on a play called "Rock Around the Block." It is based in the 1950's. We are working on the music in the show during our music classes and working on the set and blocking in Humanities! As soon as we know the date we will show our work, I will let you know!
6th: We just started working on a play called "Everything's Groovy." It is based in the 1960's. We are working on the music in the show during our music classes and working on the set and blocking in Humanities! As soon as we know the date we will show our work, I will let you know!
7th: We are working on a theater unit at the moment. We are doing a great deal of improvisational games, scene acting, and acting games. We are having a lot of fun!
8th: We are currently working on a class project in celebration for Confirmation. We are singing a song called "We Are One Body." In class we have groups working on the vocals, a visual presentation and liturgical dance. We will be doing this sometime in late February or early March for mass. As soon as we have a date, you will be informed!
