St. Stephen Martyr

We are proud to serve the Saint Stephen Martyr Parish community and families in south central Louisville. We average 20 students per class, kindergarten through eighth grade. Saint Stephen Martyr Parish also offers preschool (see their page). We offer a full range of formation, academic and extracurricular activities. All students attend religious education classes. Catholic families participate in appropriate formation activities to help students prepare for Sacraments. Our academic program includes classes in Art, Music, Computer Literacy, Spanish and Physical Education. A wide variety of individual and team activities are available through the Catholic Schools Athletic Association.

Saint Stephen Martyr School is a charter member of the Archdiocese of Louisville Collaborative Model Schools group. As such, we are an inclusive school with a tradition of meeting the needs of a diverse student body. We have a dedicated Special Needs Coordinator who works with faculty, families and students to ensure the highest probability of success for all students. We are a Family Builders school. Our Family Builders counselor works with families, students, and faculty to address the needs of each student.

Our faculty averages over 15 years of service in Catholic education. Our graduates routinely place well in high school classes.
